3 NY Livery Drivers Busted On Drug Dealing Charges In Norwalk: PD

Police seized drugs, cash and an SUV in the Wednesday arrest.

NORWALK, CT — Three New York livery drivers were arrested on a host of narcotics charges on Wednesday, after Norwalk police said the trio was "delivering large quantities of Narcotics to the greater Norwalk area."

Members of the department's Special Services Division launched an investigation in December after receiving tips about three men, all residents of New York. Additional details about the investigation were not disclosed.

On Wednesday, officers arrested the suspects and seized the following:

  • 10 Xanax Bars
  • 13 bags of powder cocaine
  • 40 folds of pure Fentanyl
  • 30 Oxycontin pills
  • Approximately $3,000 in cash
  • 2015 Ford Explorer with Livery plates

Arrested were:

  • Miguel Nunez, 25, of Jamaica, NY
  • Jimmy Salcedo, 25, of Babylon, NY
  • Wilber Lora-Espinal, 25, of New York, NY

  • Possession of Controlled substance 1,500ft School
  • Possession of Narcotics with Intent to sell
  • Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell
  • Failure to keep drugs in original container
  • Possession of Marijuana
  • Possession of Controlled substance

Salcedo was held in lieu of bail of $250,000, while Nunez and Lora-Espinal were each held in lieu of bail of $100,000. All three are scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on March 6.
