
NORWALK, CT — Police are investigating a triple shooting that occurred on Chapel Street in Norwalk Thursday night, according to officials.
All three victims suffered non-life threatening injuries in the 10:40 p.m. incident, according to Lt. Terrence Blake. The Crime Scene Unit processed the scene on Chapel Street, which was closed temporarily but has since been reopened.
"Initially officers responded to a report of shots fired on Chapel Street and located a crime scene but no victims," wrote Blake in a statement. "The Norwalk Hospital then reported two male victims had arrived by private vehicle. A short time later, a third male victim arrived at the Norwalk Hospital."

Details surrounding the circumstances that led to the shooting have not been disclosed, but additional police patrols have been assigned to the area.
