NORWALK, CT — Three people were injured in a shooting Saturday night in Norwalk, according to police.

Officers responded shortly after 10 p.m. to a report of a gunshot victim in the 200 block of Ely Avenue and found two people hurt by gunfire, a male struck in the back and a female hit in the arm, police said, adding both were taken by ambulance to Norwalk Hospital.

A third victim, who had been shot in the foot, was brought to the hospital in a private vehicle a short time later, according to police.
