30-Year Industry Veteran Named Patriot Bank EVP - Chief Compliance & Risk Officer
Patriot Bank, N.A. has announced the promotion of longtime industry veteran and Norwalk resident Judith Corprew to a senior-level position.

Patriot Bank, N.A. has announced the promotion of longtime industry veteran and Norwalk resident Judith Corprew to Executive Vice President - Chief Compliance & Risk Officer. In her expanded role, she is responsible for ensuring compliance and risk management.
“Ms. Corprew brings rich, localized experience in risk and compliance management and has demonstrated tremendous leadership in everything she does. She is a strong asset to our senior leadership team,” said Fred Staudmyer, Patriot Bank Executive Vice President & Chief Administrative Officer.
With three decades of credit and risk management experience, Ms. Corprew has held leadership positions at community-focused financial institutions and mortgage companies in the tri-state area. In addition to her new position, she serves as Chair of Patriot’s Compliance & Enterprise Risk Committee and is a member of its Audit, Steering and CRA Committees.

“I’m honored to join Patriot’s senior leadership team at a time when the bank is growing and expanding its mission. In addition to my new responsibilities, I will continue my passion of teaching financial literacy to young people and adults to learn how to better manage their personal budgets. It’s incredibly rewarding to share these critical life skills with people who may have never learned how to save or invest for their futures,” said Ms. Corprew.
A member of the Bank Compliance Association of Connecticut, Institute of Certified Bankers and Regulatory Compliance Group of Fairfield County, Mr. Corprew also serves as a Financial Coach and member of the Financial Stability Collaborative in Stamford for United Way of Western Connecticut. She is a board member of the Helper’s Club Scholarship Foundation of Stamford and is Founder of The Legacy S.P. Coat Drive, benefitting low-income children in Bridgeport.

Ms. Corprew earned her bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in finance at Post University in Waterbury, CT. She lives in Norwalk with her husband, William.
