469 Bags of Heroin Seized, Suspected Dealer Busted: Cops

NORWALK, CT - State and local law enforcement early Thursday seized 469 bags of heroin and arrested a suspected major dealer in Norwalk, according to authorities.
Arrested was Sylvester Edward, 27, on a host of narcotics charges, reports the Connecticut Post. At Edward's Leuvine Street home, authorities seized the bagged heroin, 350 grams of raw heroin, 40 grams of marijuana, handgun ammunition and drug paraphernalia.
Also arrested were Tanisha Edward and Michael Ross, also of the same Leuvine Street address. The four children of Sylvester and Tanisha Edward, who were in the home at the time of the raid, were turned over to the state Department of Children and Families.

The arrested trio were held on bonds of $100,000 or more pending arraignment in Norwalk Superior Court Thursday.
The case is being investigated by the Connecticut Statewide Narcotics Task Force and Norwalk Police Special Services-Narcotics Division.
