$50,000 Reward Offered In 2006 Norwalk Murder Investigation: PD

NORWALK, CT — Norwalk police said Wednesday a $50,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a murder suspect.

Police said they are seeking the public's assistance with information regarding the June 29, 2006, murder of Laray "Mookie" Moore, who was shot and killed in the Roodner Court housing complex on Ely Avenue.

The State of Connecticut has offered a $50,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible, police said.

In 2016, a similar $50,000 reward was offered in the same case just before the 10th anniversary of the crime.

Anonymous tips can be left at the Norwalk Police Tip Line (203-854-3111). Anonymous Internet tips can be sent to Norwalk Police website at www.norwalkpd.com, and anonymous text tips can be submitted by typing "NPD" into the text field, followed by the message, and sending it to CRIMES (274637).
