$50,000 Reward Offered in Norwalk Murder Investigation

The 10-year-old murder occurred in the Roodner Court housing complex on June 29, 2006.

Norwalk, CT - A $50,000 reward again is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible for the murder of Laray Moore, Norwalk police announced today, June 28, one day before the 10th anniversary of the crime.

Moore, who went by the nickname "Mookie," was shot and killed in the Roodner Court housing complex on Ely Avenue on June 29, 2006.

In 2015, a similar $50,000 reward was offered in the same case.

"Tomorrow marks the 10-year anniversary of this crime, which remains unsolved," wrote Lt. Terrence Blake in a statement. "Norwalk Detectives are asking that anyone with any information contact them."
