70+ Stores Coming As The SoNo Collection Preps Friday Opening

NORWALK, CT — Though you will not be able to visit all stores, The SoNo Collection will open on Friday, Oct. 11, anchored by Nordstrom and several other brands, according to the South Norwalk-based mall's development company Brookfield Properties.

"A handful of brands will open alongside Nordstrom, and, with 90 percent of the property leased, we are looking forward to more tenants opening throughout the holiday season and into the first quarter of 2020," said Rachel Wille, spokesperson for Brookfield, told Patch.

While everything will not be accessible, Wille was quick to add that facility, which has been under construction for more than two years, will host a lot of other features beyond shopping.

"Throughout the phased opening process, The SoNo Collection experience will be in full effect and we encourage guests to enjoy the interactive art installations and take advantage of the community gathering space like the Magnificent Room and The SoNo Garden," Wille said. "We’re thankful to the people of Norwalk for their patience and we share the excitement with our community."
