Ability Beyond Appoints Vice President of Development
Tracy L. Conte Will Lead Development and Communication Efforts for Ability Beyond

Ability Beyond, a leading nonprofit that provides services and programs to individuals with disabilities in Connecticut and Westchester, is pleased to announce that Tracy L. Conte will lead development and communication efforts for the organization.
As Vice President of Development and Community Engagement, Tracy will be responsible for the vision, planning, organization and implementation of comprehensive and integrated strategies to assure success in both the generation of philanthropic support and the expansion of services in pursuit of the mission of Ability Beyond. A member of the senior leadership team, the Vice President of Development and Community Engagement works closely with the Board of Directors and Board committees to provide leadership and expertise in the creation and implementation of plans for both short and long-term success of the organization.

Tracy has a long history of philanthropic leadership and not-for-profit management. Prior to joining the team at Ability Beyond, Ms. Conte was the VP of Development and Marketing at New York-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital. She brings 20+ years of knowledge and experience gained amongst a broad range of development and communications roles. Tracy received her bachelor’s degree in Literature from SUNY Purchase.

Ability Beyond is a 501{c} (3) organization headquartered in Bethel, Conn. and Chappaqua, N.Y. It provides a wide range of services for over 3,000 people with a disability that inhibits their activities of daily living -- including numerous residential alternatives, employment training, career counseling, job placement services, cognitive and life skills instruction, clinical and therapeutic support, and volunteer and recreational activities.
