NORWALK, CT — Actor Kevin Pollak recently stopped by Stew Leonard's in Norwalk to express his love for pizza cupcakes, and even snagged some of the store's famous free samples!
Meghan Bell, the store's director of public relations, confirmed the "Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" actor visited the Norwalk store April 25 to promote The Pizza Cupcake, a new product the store has been selling and in which Pollak is an investor.
In a short video, Pollak can be seen standing with Chase Leonard, daughter of store owner Stew Leonard Jr., expressing his excitement about the product being available at Stews.

"[I'm] venturing my way through Stew Leonard's for the first time, and what do I find? Pizza cupcake," Pollak said in the video. "The greatest treat any other time, day or night; 12 minutes from the freezer to eating. I can't get enough of pizza cupcakes."
Pollak then segued into an impression of "Pulp Fiction" actor Christopher Walken and urged customers to "come down to Stew Leonard's for everything, but don't forget: pizza cupcake."

The video also included a brief shot of Pollak making his way further into the store after grabbing some pizza cupcake samples.
According to the store's website, Pollak had never been to any Stew Leonard's locations prior to his April 25 visit but said the Westport Avenue store "blew him away."
The Pizza Cupcake was recently made available in select grocery stores throughout the Northeast starting in November. The product's website promises customers a flaky outside and cheesy inside, offering a savory gourmet snack all around.
Bell noted the product has already been a hit with the store's shoppers.
Pollak has starred in a number of acclaimed films, including "A Few Good Men," "Grumpy Old Men," "The Usual Suspects" and director Martin Scorsese's "Casino." He is also a regular cast member on the popular Amazon comedy-dram television series "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel," featuring Rachel Brosnahan and Tony Shalhoub.
In addition to Norwalk, Stew Leonard's has stores in Danbury and Newington, as well as several New York locations. Last summer, the store announced plans for a major renovation project proposed for the flagship Norwalk location.
Pollak is not the first celebrity to be spotted at a Stew Leonard's store. Back in June, Emmy-winning actor Bryan Cranston paid a visit to Stew Leonard's Wines & Spirits of Norwalk to meet with customers and promote his new mezcal line, Dos Hombres.
