NORWALK, CT — An adult is in critical condition and two juveniles were injured after a vehicle rolled over during a crash Monday afternoon in Norwalk, police said.

In a news release, Police Sgt. Sofia Gulino said two vehicles driving on Connecticut Avenue were involved in a crash around 4:30 p.m., causing one of the vehicles to roll over and hit a pedestrian who was walking in the area with two juveniles.

A heavy response of police, fire and ambulance personnel responded to the area and all three pedestrians were taken to Norwalk Hospital, Gulino said.

The two juveniles sustained minor injuries and the adult pedestrian is in critical condition, Gulino said. The driver of the vehicle that rolled over was extricated and sustained minor injuries.
