Altercation In Norwalk Ends With 1 Dead, 1 Arrested: Police
The incident occurred late Saturday night on Washington Street, according to police.

NORWALK, CT — A man was killed during an altercation in Norwalk late Saturday night, and a suspect has been arrested in connection with the incident, according to police.
Details of the circumstances that led to the 11:45 p.m. altercation were not disclosed, nor was the victim's identity.
Officers were called to Washington Street on a report of man down on ground, and by the time they arrived at the scene, that individual was dead.

"Detectives have determined that both parties are known to each other and an altercation ensued between the two prior to the 911 call," wrote Norwalk Police Lt. Jared Zwickler in a statement. "This is an isolated incident and the suspect, Ricky Hickman, was taken into custody."
Hickman, 57, of Woodward Avenue in Norwalk, was charged with second-degree assault and first-degree trespass. He was held in lieu of bail of $100,000, and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on April 1.
