Amazon Driver Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Elderly Woman: Norwalk PD

NORWALK, CT — A Rocky Hill man accused of sexually assaulting an elderly woman while giving her a ride to Norwalk was arrested Wednesday, according to police.

In a news release, Police Lt. Tomasz Podgorski said the incident was reported in May and investigated by the department's Special Victims Unit.

According to Podgorski, investigators found Gabriel Alexis Alfaro, a 25-year-old Amazon delivery driver, sexually assaulted the woman while giving her a ride from Fairfield to Norwalk.

After obtaining a warrant, police arrested Alfaro at his Rocky Hill home Wednesday, Podgorski said.

Alfaro was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault. His bond was set at $75,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court next month, according to Podgorski.
