Closures Announced In Norwalk During Roadwork: Police

NORWALK, CT — The Connecticut Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork in the Norwalk area this week, during which some closures will be in effect, police announced Monday.

According to the department's Facebook page, work will take place nightly Monday through Friday from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

During these hours, the following closures will be in effect, according to police:

• Interstate 95 Northbound: Exit 15 to Route 7 North.

• Interstate 95 Southbound: Exit 15 to Route 7 North.

• West Avenue On-Ramp to Route 7 North.

Drivers are advised to plan alternate routes and allow for extra travel time, according to police.

Travelers are also asked to drive safely and follow posted detour signs, police said.
