NORWALK, CT — A driver was injured in a rollover crash Thursday afternoon in Norwalk, according to the Norwalk Fire Department.
In a news release, Assistant Chief Timothy Reardon said a one-car rollover crash was reported around 1:30 p.m. on Blake Street.
When firefighters arrived in the area, they found a vehicle that had rolled over with the driver, who was the sole occupant, trapped inside, Reardon said.
According to Reardon, firefighters quickly stabilized the vehicle and extricated the driver within 15 minutes of their arrival.
The driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for further medical evaluation, according to Reardon.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation, Reardon said.
