Norwalk Police To Host Coffee With A Cop Event

NORWALK, CT — Police will host a "Coffee with a Cop" event at a restaurant in Norwalk later this month.

According to the department's Facebook page, the event will be held July 16 from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at McDonald's, located at 531 Westport Avenue.

Police noted Coffee with a Cop is "an opportunity to build relationships and strengthen connections between law enforcement and the community in a relaxed, informal setting. There are no speeches or formal agenda—just conversation."

Residents are invited to stop by and meet some of the department's officers, ask questions, share their thoughts or simply enjoy a cup of coffee and friendly conversation.
