NORWALK, CT — The city will hold a public involvement meeting on a proposed project intended to reduce traffic congestion in Norwalk later this month.
According to the city's Facebook page, a public involvement meeting concerning the proposed Traffic Signal System Upgrade and Transit Signal Priority Implementation (Phase 5) is scheduled to be held July 23.
The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. in the Yankee Doodle Garage Conference Room, located at 10 Burnell Boulevard in Norwalk.
According to the city, the purpose of the project is to reduce traffic congestion, reduce transit delays, improve transit reliability and increase the safety and comfort of all road users along some of the most heavily used routes within Norwalk.
