Milling, Paving Scheduled For Norwalk Road: City

The city said there will be times when residents will have very limited or no on-street parking during the milling and paving work.

NORWALK, CT — Milling and paving road work is scheduled to take place next week as the final part of a roadway milling and paving, sidewalks and water main installation project on Flax Hill Road, city officials announced.

According to the city's Facebook page, milling and paving from Washington Street to Arbor Drive will begin Monday and should be completed by Friday.

Work will take place sometime between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., according to the city.

The city also noted there will be times when residents will have very limited or no on-street parking during the milling and paving work.

"If possible, in order to avoid traffic congestion, please plan your trip to avoid the section of Flax Hill Road between Washington Street and Arbor Drive unless you live on that portion of Flax Hill Road," the city's Facebook post reads.

The city also thanked residents for their patience during the various phases of this critical infrastructure upgrade project.
