NORWALK, CT — The East Norwalk Train Station will be closed this weekend as construction activity related to the WALK Bridge project continues.
According to a post Tuesday on the WALK Bridge Facebook page, the station will be closed in both directions Aug. 1-2.
The station will re-open in time for Monday morning trains on Aug. 3, according to the post.
"No through traffic at the East Norwalk Train Station south side through Aug. 3," the post reads. "Traffic permitted at Winfield and Rowan Street, but no through traffic near the west end of the platform. Parking restrictions in designated construction zone."

"Thank you for continued patience and cooperation as this important work progresses during the active summer construction season," the post reads. "Slow down, plan ahead and follow all signage, flagger and police direction."
