NORWALK, CT — A 22-year-old Nashville, Tennessee man was arrested on sexual assault and related offenses following an investigation involving the alleged sexual assault of a juvenile victim, Norwalk police said.
The department's Special Victims Unit began investigating allegations of sexual assault involving a juvenile in October 2025, and determined that Henry "Anthony" Timal was the suspect. During the investigation, Norwalk police learned that Timal had left Connecticut.
With assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service, authorities located Timal in Nashville, Tennessee, and took him into custody in late July.
Timal waived extradition proceedings in Tennessee, and members of the Norwalk Police Department returned him to Connecticut on Friday and processed him on the outstanding warrant.
Details of the case were not disclosed.
Timal is charged with first-degree sexual assault, commercial sexual abuse of a minor and risk of injury to a minor, and he is being held in lieu of bail of $300,000. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Stamford Superior Court on Friday.
Norwalk police thanked the U.S. Marshals Service and Tennessee authorities for assisting in locating and apprehending Timal, and facilitating his return to Connecticut.
