Famous Movie Actor, Director To Appear At Stew Leonard's In Norwalk For Meet-And-Greet

NORWALK, CT — Iconic actor, comedian and director Ben Stiller, known for a number of popular films including "Meet the Parents" and "Zoolander," is scheduled to appear at Stew Leonard's in Norwalk this weekend for a public meet-and-greet.

According to a news release, the Emmy Award-winning actor will appear at the store to promote his soda brand, Stiller's Soda, which is currently on sale at Stew Leonard's in Norwalk

Stiller is hitting the road to celebrate the brand's growing retail presence, kicking off a "retail world tour" at the Norwalk store.

The news was also announced Tuesday by Stew Leonard's on the store's Facebook page.

"IT'S HAPPENING! Ben Stiller is coming to Stew Leonard's NORWALK this Saturday, August 22 at 1 p.m.," the store's post reads. "Come meet Ben, grab your Stiller's Soda, and join us for an afternoon you won't want to miss! We can't wait to see you there!"

During his stop in Norwalk, Stiller is scheduled to participate in a public meet-and-greet, offering customers a chance to meet and interact with him in the store, according to the release.

Stiller previously stopped by Stew Leonard's in Yonkers, N.Y., back in December to promote Stiller's Soda.

In his December 2025 "Around the Store with Stew" newsletter, CEO Stew Leonard Jr. said Stiller was "a cool, down-to-earth guy" when he stopped by the store.

"We made some ice cream sodas with our ice cream and his soda, and it was delicious," Leonard wrote. "I also had Ben make his own ice cream cone. Let me put it this way: he needs A LOT of practice! We also had him taste a butter dipped ice cream cone and his eyeballs were rolling around. He loved it!"

Stiller's Soda invites customers to "Drink soda the new-fashioned way! Classic taste. Low in sugar, all natural ingredients, & added essential vitamins (absolutely no biotics). Stiller's is a healthier soda that actually tastes good," according to the brand's Instagram page.

Stiller's Soda is sold in a variety of flavors, including Shirley Temple, Lemon Lime and Root Beer.

Stiller has appeared in a number of popular films and television shows over the past four decades.

In addition to the "Meet the Parents," "Night at the Museum" and "Madagascar" film series, he has also appeared in iconic comedies such as "Zoolander," "There's Something About Mary" and "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story," as well as TV shows such as "Friends," "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "Arrested Development."

He has also directed films such as "The Cable Guy," "Tropic Thunder" and "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty," as well as episodes of the Apple TV series "Severance," for which he is also an executive producer.
