NORWALK, CT — The city of Norwalk has announced garbage and recycling collection information for the upcoming Labor Day holiday, which falls on Sept. 7 this year.
According to the city's Facebook page, there will be no garbage or recycling collection on Labor Day.
Garbage and recycling collections will resume Tuesday and be delayed by one day, according to the city.
Residents are asked to have both garbage and recycling at their curb by 6 a.m. for this altered collection schedule, according to the city.
The city's transfer station and yard waste site will also both be closed Monday and reopen Tuesday.
