Nail Salon Among 109 New Businesses Registered In Norwalk In August

NORWALK, CT — Norwalk saw 109 new business registrations in August, according to the Connecticut Business Registry.

Real estate and holding companies led the way with 12 filings, followed by residential remodelers and property management.

Among the new arrivals were a mobile food business, a nail salon and a travel arrangement and reservation service.

Registering with the state doesn't necessarily mean a business has opened its doors — the paperwork can come well before or after a launch.
