NORWALK, CT — The Norwalk Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled to hold a few public hearings during its regular meeting scheduled for Wednesday evening.
According to an agenda available on the city's website, the virtual meeting is scheduled to be held at 6 p.m. and can be accessed by phone, Zoom or a recording on the city's YouTube channel.
Among the items listed on the agenda, the commission is scheduled to hold a public hearing on an application from the Wall Street Neighborhood Association for a zoning regulation text amendment and zoning map amendment to Article 4 to create the Wall Street Village District Overlay and associated standards relating to density, parking, workforce
housing and public realm.
The commission is also scheduled to hold a public hearing on city-sponsored zoning regulation text amendments to Articles 4, 7 and 9, according to the agenda.
A third public hearing listed on the agenda concerns a special permit application to expand a non-conforming motor vehicle repair use to add an overhead door for service at 131 New Canaan Avenue.
Each public hearing item is listed on the agenda for a report and recommended action.
The agenda also includes a discussion of a nominating committee, as well as acceptance of minutes from the Sept. 2 regular meeting and comments from the director and commissioners.
