NORWALK, CT, September 28, 2012 – A. Pappajohn Company celebrated its 20th anniversary last night at the Steel Shed in South Norwalk. It was a fitting venue to hold such an occasion as the luxury car garage was built in 2009 by this Norwalk-based construction company.
Established in 1992, A. Pappajohn Company provides construction management, general contracting and consulting services to a diverse base of clients. The company has managed many high-profile projects and specializes in all types of construction including new construction and building renovations, tenant fit-ups, retail fit-ups, public works projects, restaurants, medical facilities and membership clubs.
Recent notable projects include Darien YMCA, Maplewood Senior Living at Darien, Maritime Yards, Norwalk Community Health Center, Saugatuck Center Westport and Stepping Stones Museum for Children. A. Pappajohn Company has also completed many high-end interior tenant alterations for a prestigious group of clients and tenants spanning multiple industries.

The company has grown significantly in 20 years, despite the recent economy, which hit the construction industry acutely. With 22 employees and a substantial roster of active projects, A. Nearly 150 people attended last night’s anniversary event including local developers, architects, contractors, engineers, clients and A. Pappajohn Company employees. Guests celebrated amid a fleet of colorful, fast and rare cars that provided a memorable landscape for this milestone.
