On Monday, June 4, 2012, the 4th grade students of Fox Run Elementary School had the opportunity to learn how democracy works when Congressman Jim Himes visited the school.
The 4th grade Fox Run students have been studying government this year, including a trip to the Capitol in Hartford as well as a visit from State Senator Bob Duff. During Himes visit, they learned more about the federal government’s role in their lives and asked Himes questions about issues that concern them.
