Applications Due Next Month for Norwalk's Center for Global Studies
The acclaimed "magnet school-within-a-school" is located at Brien McMahon High School on Highland Avenue.

NORWALK, CT — Applications for Norwalk's acclaimed Center for Global Studies for the 2017-18 school year are due on Jan. 6, according to officials with Norwalk Public Schools.
Open to Norwalk students, in addition to students from other Fairfield County communities, the Center for Global Studies "is an inter-district, international studies magnet school that focuses on Arabic, Chinese and Japanese language, history, and culture."
The magnet school-within-a-school is located at Brien McMahon High School on Highland Avenue, and its mission is to prepare students "to become citizens of our global society."
