Aquarium Puts Child Artists on Display

The 2013 International Children's Art Exhibit near the Maritime Aquarium's IMAX Theater entrance officially opens on Thursday.

The exhibit is run by Norwalk's Creative Connections, a nonprofit arts organization.

Students from southern Connecticut, neighboring New York and from around the world are featured at the exhibit, which runs through Sept. 3.

One of the largest sections at the South Norwalk exhibit belongs to the students of Wendy Chu at Park City Magnet School in Bridgeport.

Tokeneke School, Rowayton School, Cloonan Middle School and New Rochelle's Albert Leonard Middle School students have art at the exhibit, as do children from as far away as Poland, Russia and Senegal.
