Around the World: Performance Series - Anne Pasquale: Living History: Liberty Belles

Come experience a Living History Program featuring the acclaimed actress/storyteller, Anne Pasquale in “Liberty Belles” at Stepping Stones Museum for Children!

This one-woman theatrical performance will introduce you to the women who made us Americans. Inspired by her own grandmother's tales, Anne's program is based on the stories of female immigrants from many cultures. They came from all parts of the world: Russia, Italy, China and Latin America. Some came to escape oppression; some to merely find a better way of life. Their names were different - Theresa, Emma, Ah Wang So - but their dream was the same. With them, they brought their knowledge of the old and their hope for the new. Anne Pasquale uses these stories, as well as songs, to explore our nation's cultural diversity and common heritage.
