Attempted Murder Arrest Made In Norwalk

The man shot a victim several times, police said.

NORWALK, CT — A West Haven man was arrested after he shot a victim several times in Norwalk, according to police.

The July 9, 2017 shooting nearly claimed the life of the victim on Plymouth Avenue. The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

Marquel Middleton, 24, was developed as a suspect and was arrested by warrant April 19 with the help of Milford Police and the Office Of Adult Probation.

Middleton is charged with criminal attempted murder, first-degree reckless endangerment, illegal discharge of a firearm and carrying a pistol without a permit. Bail is set at $500,000.
