NORWALK, CT — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Norwalk, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Norwalk Public Schools.
The first day of school for most students in Norwalk is Aug. 28, according to the 2023-2024 district calendar.
Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

- First Day: Aug. 28
- Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 22 (early dismissal) through Nov. 24
- Winter Break: Dec. 25 through Jan. 1
- Spring Break: April 15 through April 19
- Last Day: June 14 (early dismissal)
