The Shelter provides those in need with shelter, food, clothing, case management services, treatment services, transitional planning for short and long term goals, subsidized housing, education, employment, and a path towards independence and success.
Notes Open Door Executive Director Jeannette Archer-Simon, “BankWell understands the value of helping people get back on their feet. The donated shoes will benefit not only the 95 individuals and family members in our shelter, but also those struggling to make ends meet in the community. The shoes will be shared as part of our next clothing distribution. They may make a professional outfit complete, or a pair of boots might keep feet dry. A little caring contribution goes such a long way to those we serve.”
