NORWALK, CT — One person was displaced by a basement fire that broke out at a Norwalk home Monday night, according to the Norwalk Fire Department.

In a news release, Assistant Chief Timothy Reardon said firefighters, along with Norwalk police and EMS, were called to a home on Stonybrook Road around 9:30 p.m. after receiving a report of smoke in the basement.
