BEVERLY ELLIOTT OF COMCAST HONORED BY URBAN LEAGUE OF SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT AS "WOMAN OF POWER"

Norwalk Resident Also Recently Joined Comcast's Regional Senior Leadership Team

NORWALK, CT (February 11, 2016)–Comcast’s Beverly Elliott was recently honored at a special ceremony by the Urban League of Southern Connecticut as a “Woman of Power.” Elliott was among 11 women saluted from a wide variety of fields, including not only business, but also medicine, law and education. Elliott was also recently promoted to Senior Director of Project Management for Comcast’s Western New England Region and has joined the region’s Senior Leadership Team.

Elliott has more than 20 years of industry experience and oversees Comcast’s regional Project Management Office, which is responsible for creating and managing the execution of plans and cross-functional teams that ensure new initiatives and product launches are rolled out efficiently and smoothly. Elliott has held many roles in engineering and marketing at Comcast since joining the company in 2005 and most recently served as Director of Project Management. Prior to Comcast, Elliott worked for Cablevision for six years and also spent five years at BET/Action’s Pay-Per-View service in Santa Monica, CA.

A graduate of the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in English, Elliott has earned certification as a Six Sigma Green Belt and completed Comcast’s Executive Leadership Career Advancement Program (ELCAP), which is designed to accelerate career growth and increase retention for a diverse pipeline of leadership talent within the company. She also is a two-time finalist for the Connecticut Technology Council’s “Women of Innovation” award.

Elliott resides in Norwalk, Connecticut, with her husband and their two children.
