Boaters Rescued After Vessel Capsizes In Waters Off Norwalk Shore
The rescue occurred during Saturday's thunderstorm.
NORWALK, CT — Four people were rescued during Saturday's thunderstorm by members of the Norwalk Police Marine Unit, after the boaters' vessel capsized off the Norwalk shore, according to authorities.
No injuries were reported from the rescue, but the boaters, none of whom had life vests, had to tread water until officers arrived.
Additional details were not disclosed, but the department posted a photo about the rescue on its Facebook page.
