NORWALK, CT — A body was found floating in the Long Island Sound in Norwalk over the weekend, according to police.In a news release, Police Sgt. Ryan Evarts said the department was notified of a dead man floating in the water Sunday around 3:30 p.m.The Norwalk Police Marine Unit located and recovered the body, Evarts said.According to Evarts, Norwalk police and the Office of the State Medical Examiner are currently investigating and trying to determine the man's identity.Anyone with any additional information is asked to contact Norwalk police at (203) 854-3102.

The topic for the day:&nbsp;What Do You Worship? Unitarian Universalists often use the word "worship" to describe what happens on Sunday mornings. If many UUs reject traditional religion, why do they hold on to the word "worship"...and more importantly, what exactly are they worshipping?Adam Lawrence Dyer is currently completing a Ph.D. in Modern and Contemporary Religious Thought at the University of Virginia where his research focus is equity, embodiment and liberal religion.&nbsp;&nbsp;He received his BA from Princeton University and his M.Div. from the Pacific School of Religion where he earned the Certificate in Sexuality and Religion and was recognized with the Paul Wesley Yinger Preaching Award.&nbsp;From 2017 to 2022, he was the lead minister at First Parish in Cambridge, and the Unitarian Universalist chaplain at Harvard University and is the author of a collection of meditations on blackness and liberal religion titled Love Beyond God(2016).&nbsp;Click <a href="https://uuwestport.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/OOS_5-24-26.pdf" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">HERE</a> for the Order of Service. Smith</a> presides over our time together that includes participation from multiple congregants, guests, and friends. Separate children's programming and nursery care is available during the service, 10-11:15AM. Dress code is as you feel comfortable.
