Business Meeting Leads To Assault Charge In Norwalk: Report

Police said a Norwalk man was charged with assault following an argument during a business meeting.

NORWALK, CT – Police said a Norwalk man is accused of strangling a business associate after an argument during a business meeting, the Norwalk Hour reported. The alleged incident occurred May 16 at a Creeping Hemlock Drive residence, however the accused was arrested Wednesday.

According to the Norwalk Hour, the verbal argument allegedly broke out while Jeffrey Santo, 43, a female business associate and a third person were discussing business. The female victim told police the accused began to strangle her after she smashed a plate on the ground.
