Lead singer Dana Dicerto-With a background in theater, Dana has performed in musicals and plays across Connecticut and New York. She is thrilled to have taken the leap as lead vocalist with Sweet Surrender and is absolutely loving her musical journey with this wonderful and supportive group of musicians!
Drummer Ken Corbin- has been playing drums in bands since he was15. He has spent last 20 playing in Fearless/ Six2Go. Great classic rock band. Also a prog rock band last couple of years. His latest project is called the DKPBAND. He looks forward to seeing you at one of his gigs.
Joe Valerio (Keyboards, Sound) is a Classical and Classic Rock music enthusiast who has played in several Fairfield County bands for over 10 years. He likes to bring many different classical music sounds and rich, lush dynamics to modern rock band performances. With 40 years of experience in Audio Electronics and Live Sound he also handles the sound mixing for Sweet Surrender.
JD SOUTHARD (Rhythm Guitar, Vocals) is a veteran Performer and also a Songwriter of award-winning family-oriented and pop music. Her songs have appeared on HBO, Independent Film and on FM Radio. She has been active on the Band scene for many years, leading her own group The JD SOUTHARD BAND, as well as in the bands COASTAL GROOVE, QUARTER MOON, and the NORTHERN LIGHTS. She has also performed at NYC’s The Bitter End and at Music Festivals in Pleasantville NY, and Cape May, NJ.
WIlliam Duncan- Bassist. Has been playing for 15 years Studied Cello under Joel Friedmen and switched to bass guitar a few years later. He hasplayed in several bands, Coastal groove, Blame it on the dog, and now Sweet Surrender and the Kate Miserocchi Band. Music has definitely become a passion and a driving force in his life. It touches everyone in different ways. As a Bassist just being in the pocket connecting the rhythm and the melody in a groove that touches the soul.
Lead guitarist- Steve Miserocchi, Seeing the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show did it for him. Both his parents played guitar and piano.He had been playing since he was 12.He has mostly played on worship team bands in various churches.He has been in 3 classic rock bands over the last 12 yrs, and has also in a jazz/rock band with my wife, who is a keyboard player.( Kate Miserocchi Band).The love of music keeps me going and growing!
