Newly renovated Goldstone Caregiver Center offers monthly support groups at Norwalk Hospital
Join the caregiver support group at Norwalk Hospital on Tuesday, October 28, at the Goldstone Caregiver Center.
The Goldstone Caregiver Center celebrated its grand re-opening last month following renovations.
The center now includes:
- a family conference room for confidential care consultations and family meetings.
- Three private family rooms, each furnished with a state of the art massage chair to provide caregiver a quiet space for relaxation and respite.
In addition to the physical improvements, the center has expanded its program offerings to include new in person caregiver support group, complementing its existing peer support sessions. The center has also incorporated new elements into its tone therapy program, broadening its therapeutic benefits.
Tone therapy is a relaxation technique that uses vibrations and harmonic frequencies to alleviate stress and relax the mind. Tone therapy is available every Wednesday of the month from 12 p.m. to 12:10 p.m.
