9/11 Memorial 25th Anniversary Vigil
Event Details
Come stand together on Friday, September 11, at 6 PM for a half-hour outdoor peace vigil at Norwalk's 9/11 Memorial — built around a beam recovered from the World Trade Center — next to the Green at Saint Paul's.
We will remember those who died that morning, and the responders and survivors still sickening and dying. We will hold in our hearts the wars that are ongoing and everyone lost in them.
This vigil is open to all, from any faith tradition or none. There will be space to light candles, place flowers, and write messages of love and healing. Come with whatever you are carrying, and find a moment of stillness and solidarity.
