NORWALK, CT — A woman was sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after her car went off-road and down a slight embankment on the Merritt Parkway between exits 40 and 41 during the Tuesday afternoon commute.
The crash happened on the northbound side around 4 p.m. The Volvo station wagon went down a slight embankment, rolled over several times and came to rest upright, said Deputy Fire Chief Edward Prescott.
State Police are investigating the crash. The woman who is in her 50's was transported to Norwalk Hospital
