The American Job Center Career Coach will resume its services to jobseekers with several seminars presented by Norwalk Public Library in January, February and March. The first in the series, “Create a Great Resume,” on Thursday, January 14, from 1 - 2:30 p.m, on Zoom, will provide guidance for creating resumes that will get noticed in today’s challenging job market, identify pitfalls to avoid, and focus on current standards and styles to make your resume stand out.

Social Networking for Employment - February 18, 1 - 2:30 p.m.
Focuses on the increasing necessity to have an online presence to be considered as a credible employment candidate in the current hiring environment. Learn which Social networking sites are most popular, and how best to use the resources and tools available on these sites.
Microsoft Excel I & II - March 17 & 18, 1 - 2:30 p.m.
Learn this popular software program that allows users to organize, format, and calculate data with formulas, using a spreadsheet system. As part of the Microsoft Office suite, Excel is compatible with the other applications in the suite. It also features the ability to perform basic (and some complex) calculations, use graphing tools, create pivot tables, and create macro’s, using a simple programming language.
