Carjacking Reported In Norwalk, Police Seek Information: PD

Police said two suspects stole a BMW X3 from an owner at gunpoint in Norwalk and tried to steal another car nearby.

NORWALK, CT — Police are seeking further information after a carjacking was reported early Thursday morning in Norwalk.

In a news release, Police Lt. Tomasz Podgorski said the incident was reported around 5 a.m. on Westport Avenue, during which two suspects stole a BMW X3 from an owner at gunpoint.

The suspects then left the area and tried to steal another car at the intersection of Dry Hill Road and Westport Avenue, however the driver was able to maneuver their vehicle past the suspects' car and flee, Podgorski said.

Officers later found the stolen car in Norwalk.
