Free Family 'Play Outside Day' at Pinkney Park
The Community Cooperative Nursery School is hosting a free, family event at Pinkney Park on Saturday, May 2nd from 10 a.m. to noon.

The Community Cooperative Nursery School (CCNS) is inviting families to ‘come play outside’ in celebration of National Play Outside Day. This free event will be held on May 2nd from 10 a.m. to noon at Pinkney Park in Rowayton.
The award-winning CCNS staff will provide hundreds of boxes and interesting building materials for a let-your-imagination-run-wild building activity and will be on hand to help bring the box forts, castles, dragons, dinosaurs and robots to life. There will also be outdoor games, a bake sale, and fun prizes for the kids.
“After such a long winter, we are celebrating the joy of getting back outside and playing together,” says Dana Gorman, CCNS Fours teacher and recipient of the Stepping Stones Museum Playful Practices in Teaching Award.

“Do you remember getting a new toy and thinking the box was the best part?” ask Mrs. Gorman. “Come spend an hour or two with us playing, creating, connecting, building and exploring while enjoying time outside together as a family”.
CCNS is a cooperative nursery school in Rowayton with morning classes for children ages two, three and four based on learning through play and family involvement.
