
Charles
Arthur Barker, of Norwalk, CT passed away on October 14th, 2018 with
his family at his side, after a courageous two-year battle with Brain
Cancer.
He was
born in Gouverneur, NY on December 26th, 1943 to Harold A. Barker
and Loraine B. Sayer. “Chuck” graduated from Newburgh Free Academy, Newburgh NY
in 1961. He served honorably in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He was in sales all his life. His personality, charm and wit made him a
master salesman. He was a loyal friend to those he knew.
He was
preceded in death by his parents; stepmother Barbara L. Peasley; and his niece
Nancy Pullar.

Survivors
include his wife, Judy Sjoblom Barker and his daughter Erika A. Barker; his
sister Donna R. Pullar and husband James; a brother Joel C. Barker and wife
Nancy; brother in law John E. Sjoblom and nieces and nephews.
Friends
are invited to attend a celebration of Chuck’s life on Tuesday October 23, 2018
from 10:00 am until Noon at Hoyt-Cognetta-Lesko Funeral Home, 5 East Wall
