NORWALK, CT — Fans of TikTok star and Norwalk native Charli D'Amelio may be able to root for her and her mother, Heidi, on the newest season of "Dancing with the Stars," according to media reports.

TMZ reports the mother-daughter pair have joined the cast of the reality dance competition's 31st season, however they will compete against each other and other celebrities as separate contestants, not as a team.

Deadline also reported the pair will appear on the show this fall and will be competing against each other.

According to TMZ, Charli D'Amelio began dancing at a young age, making her a potentially strong candidate to win the competition.
