Fire officials said the heat from the blaze melted the exterior siding of a house next door.

NORWALK, CT — Fire officials said ten people were displaced by a structure fire at a two-story, wood-framed Lexington avenue duplex Christmas night. Heavy flames were visible from a side bedroom window when firefighters arrived at approximately 10:45 p.m. Tuesday night.
According to a press release, the radiant heat from the fire melted the exterior siding of a house next door. (To sign up for Norwalk breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
