Christmas Tree Collection Scheduled For Norwalk

NORWALK, CT — For city of Norwalk residents that receive city garbage collection, Christmas trees will be collected twice during the month of January.

Tree collection will take place:

• Monday, Jan. 8 – Friday, Jan. 12
• Monday, Jan. 22 – Friday, Jan. 26

Please have all Trees curbside by 6 a.m. on the Monday of the above collection weeks. Please no plastic bags, decorations or lights.

The Yard Waste Site, located at 15 S. Smith Street, will be open for two weeks in January for Christmas tree and yard waste drop-off:

• Monday, Jan. 8 to Saturday, Jan. 13
• Monday, Jan. 22 to Saturday, Jan. 27

Hours for the Yard Waste Site, during the special drop off weeks in January 2018, will
be:

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. (the scale closes for lunch from 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m., approximately)
• Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Yard Waste Site will be open during the Winter Season on Wednesdays, weather permitting and will reopen for the Spring Season on Monday April 2, 2018.
