NORWALK, CT — A former junior varsity football coach at St. Luke's School in New Canaan is accused of sending explicit text messages and having "several sexual encounters" with a 15-year-old girl, according to a new report.

Marc Lugo, 30, of Norwalk, was arrested Friday on charges of second-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a minor and harmful communication with a minor, according to police.

The Norwalk Hour reports the girl's father found "disturbing sexual images" and "graphic text messages" on her phone. She identified Lugo as the man in some of the photos and told her father she began talking to him when she was in eighth grade, but they did not get physical until she was a high school freshman.
