Color Vibe 5K This Weekend In Norwalk
The fun race and dance party is scheduled for Saturday morning. Several roads in the city will be temporarily closed for the event.

NORWALK, CT — The Color Vibe 5K race is scheduled to take place in Norwalk on Saturday, April 8, which will result in the temporary closure of several roads in the East Norwalk area, according to police.
"Residents are asked to plan ahead and motorists are asked to avoid the area," wrote Norwalk police in a statement. For more information on the Norwalk run, click here.
The following roads will be closed from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.:

- Seaview Avenue from Fort Point to First Street
- Betts Place at Seaview Avenue
- Osborne Avenue at Seaview Avenue
- East Avenue at Seaview Avenue
- First, Second, Third, Fourth Streets at Cove Avenue
- Fifth Street
- Cove Avenue
- Gregory Boulevard closed to southbound traffic at First Street
- Gregory Boulevard closed to all traffic at Fifth Street
- Calf Pasture Beach Road north of Spar Road
The Color Vibe 5K is a family friendly road race and dance party where participants are blasted with biodegradable paint as they run. Runs are held through the country, and a portion of the event's proceeds are donated to local charities.
